OHS Announcements:

Silverettes tryouts are on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. And tryout packets are available in the front office.

Yearbooks are HERE! If you purchased a yearbook, be sure to pick it up! The price for yearbooks is now $80. You can buy them in D101 before school or 1st period. You can also get your yearbooks during lunch time in the commons area

Onate will not offer credit recovery next year so the only way to make up credits will be in summer school or night school.  Summer school costs $100 per credit and night school costs $50 per credit.  Paper work for summer school is available in the guidance office.  The counselors have a few grants available to help pay for summer school-please see your counselor for information about qualification.
Struggling with Algebra II?  Then come by and see Mr. Soffera, Mr. Gutierrez, Ms. Day and Ms. Reyes for extra help.  Every Wednesday after school the Algebra II teachers will be offering tutoring to all students.  So if you need help please come by and see the Algebra II team so we can help you succeed.

Collette Baker from the department of labor will be at Onate every Thursday from 9-noon in the CRC.  She can help you find jobs, create resumes and has work permits.

Archery Club will meet every other Thursday in room A113 at lunch.

NMASBO awards six to ten $1,500 scholarships (a minimum of one from each region) to deserving New Mexico seniors across the state every year. For more information contact your guidance counselor.

The Burger King Scholarship is now available-there are 2 scholarships.For more information please see your counselor.

The NMCSA will award 2 $3000 scholarships to students interested in being a teacher, counselor or school business official.  If you have a GPA of 3.0+  please see your counselor for more inforamtion.
